editing induction parts 1

Here's some tips i learned from the inductions
:)

 black line = opacity
red line = audio
use the pen tool click where you want to edit then drag up or down.
This can change the opacity making something fade out for
example or turn down or up the audio easily.
this is how to get on colour correction...
then when your on it you can change the colours of the video
to any colours you want for example, you could change it to a teal
colour for an old effect or a dark dingy colour for an alley way.
this makes a X box come over your image then you can move it and re-size it easily.
Here's a really helpful one when audi goes above -12 it makes it
hard for tv's and other things to produce the audio so an easy way to
make sure this doesn't happen is to apply normalization gain.

 How to Blur text

How to change speed. Right click

If theres too much space in a shot you can cut it around making it look much better.

I had a mess around with matte's, shadowing text and colours here.
This lets you dissolve something, makes it look like its disappears, this isn't used a lot but for starters and random stuff it's a cool thing to use. There's also a number of quirky effects you can do -
3D simulation, iris, page peel, stretch etc...
