We had a PPP lecture on networks where brigit was stressing the fact that what we NEED to do is networking. Basically go out there and talk to people, take the chances you get and make them productive, send emails to professionals and get there critical opinion, send emails to game companies asking for experience. Ask for knowledge ask for help. Get twitter, get your work out there in the world on all the social network sites out there and share everything you have to offer, and it return everyone will share the knowledge with you, it's an invaluable thing to have and i've leanred from this year that i need to do this so much more.
